BLENHEIM GIFTS MONEY TO LOCAL SCOUTS GROUP
The 1st Bushey Heath Scout Group headquarters where George Michael first performed around 40 years ago was falling down and beginning to rot.
In March 2016, Blenheim raised money and gave a charitable donation to 1st Bushey Heath Scout Group
To pay for the refurbishment, the Scouts started fundraising with the ‘buy a brick scheme’, with each brick costing £100. Blenheim along with other loacl companies and individuals were very happy to support this cause and help preserve this historic building continue to support local young people.
The exterior cladding and new double glazing has already been fitted to the hut in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
